Combi Culmove Long R129 EggShock EA
From newborn, up to 135 cm (~newborn to 10 years).

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The newborn-to-135 cm span can delay the next-seat decision longer than typical 105 cm rotating seats.
- Rotation helps with daily loading when the seat stays installed in the main car.
Cons
- The long-use rotating shell is not a light seat to move between cars.
- Because it covers several modes, height, direction, and belt-mode transitions need careful checking.

Combi’s Culmove Long R129 EggShock EA is a strong main-car choice when rotation matters now and avoiding a replacement at 105 cm matters later. Rear-facing child mode covers 40-87 cm; forward-facing harness mode starts only after 15 months and at 76 cm, ending at 105 cm. Both harness modes stop at 18 kg. From 100-135 cm, junior mode uses the vehicle’s three-point belt while the seat stays ISOFIX-connected. That long span is useful, but the 14.2 kg shell is not convenient to move between cars, and each transition changes how the child is restrained. Check Combi’s vehicle list, ISOFIX bars and floor support for the support leg before buying. Do not turn forward early, and recheck belt routing, headrest height and empty-seat securing after every mode change.
