Shortlist the Joie i-Arc360 with canopy if you want rotation and six recline positions in both travel directions, and your child fits its tightly defined range. Rear-facing use is 40-105 cm and 2.5-19 kg; for newborn use, the manual also requires birth at 37 weeks’ gestation or later. Forward-facing use starts only after the child has passed 15 months and grown beyond 76 cm, and ends at 105 cm or 19 kg. There is no booster stage. The 14.5 kg canopy version makes most sense as a seat left in one compatible car. Before buying, confirm ISOFIX fit, firm support-leg contact and enough door-side space for the fold-out shield. If a shield would catch the door or adjacent seat during rotation, fold it before turning the seat.
