The selected UK Scoot & Ride offer is the S–M helmet, for a measured head circumference of 51–55 cm. It is the larger size in the maker’s children’s helmet family; the existing XXS–S information for other regional offers describes 45–51 cm and must not be used to size this offer.

Fit before colour

Measure around the widest part of the child’s head, then check that the helmet sits level and stays secure with the retention straps fastened. At 51 cm the published size ranges overlap, so try both sizes rather than choosing extra room for growth. The rear dial adjusts fit and contains an LED; the magnetic fastener and soft chin padding are practical details to check on the child.

Use and replacement

The model 190605 manual covers pedal cycling, skateboarding and roller skating; the maker also names scooter use. It excludes motor-vehicle use and warns against wearing the helmet while climbing where it could become trapped. Replace it after a significant impact even if damage is not visible. The rear LED is an extra visibility cue and does not replace bicycle lights.
