The white-flower Ximo Flash linked here is the 49-54 cm/19.3-21.3 in version. Its distinctive reason to compare it is the flat rear: Alpina designed that shape for children sitting against a bike-seat or trailer backrest. Try it in the actual seat as well as standing up, checking that the backrest does not push the helmet over the eyes or force the head forward.

The Run System Classic Slide adjusts the retention system in three dimensions. The model also has rear reflectors and an integrated Multi-Fit Light. Check that the light works before a ride and maintain it according to the instructions; it supplements rather than replaces the bicycle’s required lighting.

This is the original Ximo Flash, not the newer Ximo 2 Flash. Confirm the selected size on the delivered helmet and use its own fitting instructions. The ventilation openings are a confirmed feature, but do not establish a tested cooling advantage over another child’s helmet.
