Hauck Roadster Duo SLX

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Independent reclining seats and footrests help when two children nap or sit differently.
  • The side-by-side layout keeps both children equally accessible instead of hiding one seat behind the other.

Cons

  • At around 76 cm wide, doors, lifts, and narrow shop aisles still need checking.
  • The older budget-double design is less refined than newer premium sibling strollers.

Hauck Roadster Duo SLX is now more of a budget double-stroller option for families trying to solve the basic two-seat need as cheaply as possible. The product’s older official materials still show the same practical logic: two independently reclining seats, separately adjustable footrests and hoods, a one-hand fold, front swivel wheels with lock, suspension, and a large basket. That is enough to keep it functional for twins or close siblings even if the design now reads dated.

Its weakness sits in the older overall concept, not in the idea that it can no longer do the job. It is heavier, less compact, and less polished than newer doubles, so the price has to do a lot of the work. If the listing is clearly cheaper than the better current options, it can still be a pragmatic solution. If not, the age shows quickly.
