The blue XJD set bundles a Small helmet with six guards: two each for the knees, elbows and wrists. It is worth considering when a child needs the whole set, rather than another helmet alone. The linked Small size has a stated 51-54 cm head range. Measure before ordering; Medium is a different offer, and the broad age label cannot decide between the sizes.

Try every guard as well as the helmet. A helmet that fits does not guarantee the wrist or knee straps will hold the pads in place. For the helmet, use a level position low on the forehead, with the side straps forming a V around each ear and a snug chin strap.
