Nomady kids helmet with pads

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The mint S bundle includes the helmet plus knee, elbow and wrist pads, rather than helmet lining alone.

Cons

  • A helmet that fits does not guarantee the pads fit; check each fastening and the child's movement separately.

This mint Nomady set contains the S helmet, with a stated head range of 45-51 cm, and separate knee, elbow and wrist pads. The M helmet is a different, larger size. Measure before choosing: the broad age wording cannot decide which shell will stay secure on this child.

The bundle is useful when you need several pieces for supervised bike or scooter practice, but its convenience creates an extra fitting job. Check that the helmet stays level and each pad stays over the joint without restricting movement; wrist guards must also allow the child to control the handlebar. The pad bundle does not change the helmet’s permitted activities. Check the helmet marking and supplied instructions before the first outing, and replace damaged protective equipment as instructed.
