Fit before the light

Measure the head and try the helmet on. It should sit level and remain stable with the straps adjusted; a bright light cannot correct a shell that moves. The rear cradle must not be pushed out of position by hair.

Keep the light ready

The ACE LED needs charging, so include that in the routine before an evening ride. Keep the bicycle’s required lights too. Remove the helmet before playground climbing or any activity where its straps could catch. Follow the supplied manual when adjusting, cleaning or replacing the helmet.
