Choose the KS12 by leg reach, not by the two-to-five-year label. A child should be able to sit, push and stop confidently with both feet reaching the ground. The saddle adjusts from roughly 42 to 46.5 cm, so check the lowest setting first instead of buying a bike to grow into.
The EVA tyres need no pumping and the light frame is easier to carry when practice ends. There is no hand brake on the pictured model, so start on a level, traffic-free surface and practise foot stopping. The decorative lights may make a short ride appealing; they do not replace supervision or a properly fitted helmet.
