Includes both the rocking base and 12 Sport bike; the base suits the earlier stage, then detaches for balance-bike practice.

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The package includes the bike and rocking base for two distinct stages.
- The base detaches, leaving a 12-inch balance bike with adjustable seat and handlebar.
Cons
- The rocking base needs separate storage once the child moves to the detached bike.
- The base is limited to ages 6–24 months and 18 kg/39.7 lb; detached-bike fit must be checked separately.

Rocking base first, balance bike later
The package includes the Strider 12 Sport and its rocking base. Strider specifies ages 6–24 months for use on the base, with an 18 kg rider limit. The detached bike is intended for ages 1–4, with a 23–43 cm (9–17 in) saddle range and a 26–46 cm inseam range. These are different setups: the six-month starting age does not apply to riding the bike without its base.
Check fit and assembly at each stage
For the detached bike, the maker’s assembly guidance calls for feet flat on the ground with knees slightly bent. Check the saddle and handlebar clamps before use, and follow the supplied instructions when attaching or removing the base. Adult supervision is always required.
Decide whether both stages will be used
The included 12 Sport has 12-inch foam tires, adjustable saddle and handlebar, and frame footrests. It remains a pedal-free balance bike when the base is removed. The base then needs separate storage; families whose child is already ready to stride may prefer the bike-only Sport. The bundle product page sets out the two stages and the base’s limits.
