This Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi is the Burnished Yellow rack-mounted model 12081304, not the frame-mounted version. It keeps the handlebar area clear and offers a padded seat, adjustable footrests and a five-point harness. Thule’s US instructions specify a child weighing 20–40 lb, no taller than 43.3 in, within the stated 9–72-month age range. The child must also be able to sit securely; age alone is not a readiness test.
The rack is the deciding fit check. The installation instructions require an ISO 11243 carrier rated for at least 59.5 lb, with a width of 120–170 mm and rails 10–16 mm in diameter. That carrier rating is not the child’s weight allowance. Confirm the bike and rack accept a child seat, check heel clearance and follow the safety instructions before riding. If there is no suitable rack, compare a frame-mounted seat instead.
