Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi Frame Mount is the mint Nexxt rear seat for families who want more padding and a newer shell than the classic Yepp. It is still a practical daily seat: rear-mounted, 5-point harness, adjustable footrests, and a child range up to 48.5 lb (22 kg) and 43.3 in (110 cm). It belongs in the comparison when the bike has no suitable rack but does have a clean frame-mount area.

The frame check is the main caveat. The bracket has to fit the seat-tube area and leave space for the rear wheel, fender, battery, and rider’s heels. That can be straightforward on a city or hybrid bike and messy on compact electric or full-suspension frames. Shortlist it when the frame is clearly compatible; compare the rack version or a trailer if the mount is a maybe.
