Thule Yepp 2 MIK HD belongs on the shortlist when the adult bike already has the right rack interface. It is a rear child seat with a 5-point harness, adjustable footrests, and a soft foam shell, so it gives a more contained passenger space than open MTB-style front seats. The catch is compatibility. This version is built around the MIK HD click-in system, not an arbitrary pannier rack, so the rack label and load rating matter before the seat does.
