Thule Urban Glide 2 is still one of the clearest older jogging choices for parents who want a stroller that genuinely likes speed, longer walks, and rougher surfaces. The large air-filled wheels, good suspension, and stable handling give it a ride quality that feels much closer to a real all-terrain stroller than most city-first models.
What made it popular is that it does not only work for jogging. For many families it also works as an everyday stroller if they have enough storage space at home and do not rely heavily on public transport. The swivel front wheel helps at lower speeds, and the overall push feels light for a stroller in this category.
The tradeoff is size. Urban Glide 2 is bulkier than a normal city stroller, and it is harder to justify if most use will be shops, tight cafés, or frequent car boot packing. It also makes more sense from 6 months and up unless you add newborn accessories. But for active families, especially buyers considering a discounted older jogging model, it is still an easy stroller to understand.
