RodiSport is for a child who is ready to remain correctly positioned with a vehicle lap-and-shoulder belt. Its published limits are 40–100 lb and 43.4–57 in, but Maxi-Cosi cautions that not every child will fit throughout that range. The seven-position headrest supports the high-back stage before the back is removed; check belt fit and vehicle head support against the guide before using it backless.

Rigid LATCH helps position the booster, while the vehicle belt restrains the child. The manual also requires the vehicle belt to secure it when it is empty. Its 16.8 lb weight is worth considering if you expect to move it between cars frequently, rather than leave it in one seating position.
