HHOCN’s hip seat is for repeated short lifts when a broad angled perch, waist belt and optional shoulder strap are preferable to holding a child on one hip. Built-in storage can help on quick outings, and the seat is intended to shift some load from the supporting arm to the caregiver’s waist.

It does not provide the torso containment of a full-panel carrier. The marketplace’s newborn claim should not be used without explicit model instructions, and seat-only carrying is not hands-free.
