Graco GoMax Baseless Infant Car Seat
From newborn, up to 32 in (~newborn to 1 year).

Pros / Cons
Pros
- Built-in rigid LATCH avoids moving a separate base between vehicles with compatible lower anchors.
- Connection indicators and a bubble level help you check attachment and recline after each installation.
Cons
- The base is sold separately; a fixed one-car routine may be simpler with the base-included GoMax.
- Rear-facing infant use ends at 30 lb (13.6 kg) or 32 in, or earlier if the head-clearance limit is reached.

The Graco GoMax Baseless is a rear-facing infant seat for a multi-car, taxi or ride-share routine where the seat may need to be installed for each trip. Its built-in Insta-Install rigid LATCH connectors allow use without a base; Graco lists a 4-30 lb (1.8-13.6 kg) and up-to-32 in (81.3 cm) range, with the child’s head at least 1 in (2.5 cm) below the shell top. A stay-in-car base is not included and is sold separately, so one-car families who want a seat to click in and out may prefer the base-included GoMax. Check that the vehicle has compatible lower anchors and that the seat reaches the correct recline angle. The child outgrows it at whichever height or weight boundary comes first.
