Chicco Bravo LE ClearTex Stroller

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • All Chicco infant car seats click onto the included child tray without a separate adapter; removing the toddler seat cuts frame-mode weight from 26.5-21 lb (12-9.5 kg).
  • The reversible cushion, UPF 50+ canopy, all-wheel suspension, adjustable handle and 10 lb (4.5 kg) basket make the toddler setup useful for repeated errands.

Cons

  • The stroller-only carton includes neither an infant car seat nor a base, and the manual recommends a Chicco infant seat for children under 6 months rather than the toddler seat.
  • The folded frame is still 22.8 in (57.9 cm) wide and 29 in (73.7 cm) tall, so frequent stair carries, small trunks and airline travel favor a genuinely compact stroller.

The Chicco Bravo LE ClearTex is a strong everyday choice when most outings begin in the car. Any Chicco infant car seat clicks onto the included child tray without another adapter; remove the toddler seat and canopy and the frame weighs 21 lb (9.5 kg) instead of 26.5 lb (12 kg). For direct stroller-seat use, Chicco recommends the infant-seat travel-system setup for babies under six months. Later, the reclining seat, UPF 50+ canopy, reversible cushion, adjustable handle, suspension and 10 lb (4.5 kg) basket make grocery and daycare runs comfortable. The one-hand fold stands on its own, but “compact” is relative: folded dimensions are 16 × 22.8 × 29 in (73.7 cm). Measure a small trunk and expect a two-hand lift despite the one-hand folding action.
