Two passengers, bicycle use only

Retrospec Rover Double suits families who already have a walking solution and want a separate two-child bike trailer. The cabin folds for storage, and its 16 in (40.6 cm) wheels and rear storage area keep the design focused on bicycle outings. It does not convert into a stroller at your destination.

Check each child separately: the reviewed child manual limits each passenger to 40 lb (18.1 kg) and requires independent sitting, head control, a helmet and a correctly fitted harness. Two seats do not make it suitable for a newborn. The bicycle connection is another purchase decision: Retrospec does not recommend thru-axle bikes. Check your rear axle and coupling before planning a ride, and keep cargo within the manual’s loaded-trailer limits.
