Bobike GO Maxi Frame

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The maker publishes a clear 22 kg / 110 cm child limit and exact frame-tube requirements.
- The rear frame mount is distinct from carrier-mounted Bobike variants, so the interface can be checked before buying.
Cons
- The child must sit unaided for the whole ride and hold their head upright in a helmet; a bicycle must match several fit conditions.
- The bike must be approved for the combined rider-and-child load; the seat’s child limit does not replace the bicycle’s own limit.

Bobike GO Maxi Frame attaches to the bicycle seat tube, so check the child’s readiness and the bike before choosing this rear seat. The manual says not to use it below nine months; the child must sit unaided for the whole ride and hold their head upright while wearing a helmet. The maker’s recommended range is 9 months to 6 years, but the hard limits are 22 kg or 110 cm.
The frame needs 105 mm of clear length on a round or oval 28–40 mm tube, and the bicycle must have 26–28 inch wheels. It is not for folding or carbon bikes, rear suspension, scooters or mopeds, or EPACs above 25 km/h. The manual also sets a minimum rider age of 16. Check that rider plus child stays within the bicycle’s own load rating. This frame version is different from carrier-mounted seats; compare layouts in the child bike-seat shortlist.
