Bobike GO Maxi Frame

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Green indicators on the bracket help confirm that the seat has engaged correctly.

Cons

  • It needs 105 mm of clear round or oval 28–40 mm tubing, so cables, small frames and some 73.7 cm bikes can prevent a safe fit.

The GO Maxi Frame attaches to the seat tube. Its standard bar needs 105 mm of clear round or oval tube measuring 28–40 mm; the manual lists 26- and 28-inch wheels. Bobike specifies an extra bar for small frames and 29ers; its catalogue says some 29ers also need a second holder. The child must be at least 9 months old, sit independently and hold their head upright while wearing a helmet; limits are 22 kg and 110 cm. The seat is intended for e-bikes and pedelecs up to 25 km/h. It is not for folding bikes, carbon frames, rear suspension or motorised vehicles such as mopeds and scooters. Bobike’s catalogue lists 4.47 kg including the mounting kit for the frame version. Assembly instructions
