Smoby First Bike Balance Bike

Pros / Cons
Pros
- At 2.5 kg, it is easy for an adult to carry when a young rider has had enough.
- Puncture-proof wheels need no pumping, keeping short practice sessions simple.
Cons
- There is no hand brake, so secure foot reach and stopping with the feet matter; keep practice on level, open ground away from traffic.
- The saddle adjusts by only 5 cm, so the advertised 2–5-year age band does not guarantee several years of fit.

Smoby First Bike offers a 32.5–37.5 cm saddle range and a 2.5 kg complete-bike weight. The low carrying weight helps when a young rider stops practising, but the saddle has only 5 cm of adjustment. Smoby’s two-to-five age recommendation therefore cannot promise several years of fit: check that your child sits comfortably and places both feet securely at the lowest setting. The puncture-proof wheels need no pumping, and steering is limited to 30 degrees. There is no hand brake, so the child needs to stop with their feet. Keep practice on level, open ground away from traffic under adult supervision. Follow the supplied assembly instructions. Smoby specifications.
