Trumom 2006 Convertible Car Seat

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Vehicle-belt installation keeps it usable in cars without ISOFIX, while the adjustable headrest and forward-facing recline support its later stages.

Cons

  • The three recline positions are documented for forward-facing use, and every belt route and stage transition needs the exact model instructions.

Trumom 2006 is for families who need one belt-installed seat to cover several early stages, especially in a car without ISOFIX. The manufacturer specifies rear-facing use from birth to 13 kg and forward-facing use from 9-25 kg, with a five-point harness and an adjustable headrest. That overlap is a transition window, not a reason to turn the seat forward as soon as the child reaches 9 kg.

The main tradeoff is installation work. This is a Group 0+/I/II design using a three-point vehicle belt, so routing and recline instructions change by mode. Check the delivered model label, follow the exact manual in each vehicle, keep the child rear-facing within the documented limit, and reassess harness and headrest fit as the child grows.
