CuddleBug’s Original Baby Wrap is a 5.5-yard stretchy wrap for caregivers who want a close carry. The black version uses 95% cotton and 5% spandex; the manufacturer lists it from 3.2 kg (7 lb) to 16 kg (35 lb), newborn to 36 months. The manual’s illustrated tie holds the baby facing in; it gives no instructions for other carries, so do not improvise a facing-out or back carry with this tie. Tying takes practice. Support the baby knee-to-knee with knees at hip level or higher, keep the face visible and the chin clear of the chest, and practise the tie over a doll or with a spotter before carrying. Check snugness and position again at each wear. See the wrap manual and basic tie guide.
