Previous-generation Bugaboo that still makes sense when lighter weight and discount value matter more than buying the newest platform

Bugaboo Lynx

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Light 9.4 kg/20.7 lb full-size layout, one-piece self-standing fold, and 10 kg/22 lb basket make it a cleaner Bugaboo value route than heavier premium siblings.
  • Puncture-proof wheels and advanced suspension still give it more everyday substance than many cheaper full-size pushchairs.

Cons

  • Older-generation status means you are buying around value and lighter weight, not the freshest Bugaboo platform.
  • Newborn setup and overall value only make sense if the listing still undercuts stronger current Bugaboo options enough to justify the compromise.

Bugaboo Lynx still makes sense for families who want a lighter route into Bugaboo’s premium feel without paying Fox or Donkey money. Bugaboo still presents a clear practical case for it: 9.4 kg weight, a one-piece self-standing fold, large puncture-proof wheels, advanced suspension, and a 10 kg basket. That keeps it believable as a premium everyday pushchair rather than just an old badge at a lower price.

The issue is that it no longer feels like the sharpest value inside Bugaboo’s range. Fox is the stronger all-rounder, and Donkey is the more distinctive option for growing families. If your routine is mostly town pavements and you want a premium pushchair that stays a bit lighter and simpler, Lynx is still defensible, but it is no longer the obvious first-choice Bugaboo option.
