Infantino Cuddle Up fits older babies better than tiny newborns when a simple buckled carrier is wanted for short, cooler outings. The hood is the practical difference from very plain budget carriers: useful in wind or transitional weather, but not enough to make it the strongest first newborn carrier. Parents should check the stated starting range, leg position, and shoulder load before relying on it. If you need a finely adjustable first carrier for a very small baby, compare it with more newborn-focused options.
