The WeeRide Deluxe Kangaroo places the child between your arms, on a padded central seat with a front pedestal. It suits riders who want their child close during the ride, provided the bike and the adult’s pedalling position both accommodate the seat. Adjustable enclosed footcups and a five-point harness support the child’s seated position.

Use starts at 12 months and requires upright sitting and control of the head while wearing a helmet; the maximum child weight is 15 kg. Age alone does not establish readiness.

The support bar needs suitable seatpost and head-tube attachment points, with at least 45 degrees of steering clearance. Drop-bar racing bikes are excluded. Check your knee and pedal clearance during fitting: the central seat can change your stance even on an otherwise compatible frame.
