Retrospec Rowan Youth MTB Helmet

Pros

  • The dial fit and removable three-position visor make it easier to adjust coverage as riding conditions change.

Cons

  • The 50-57 cm range still needs a measured fit check; the manufacturer’s CPSC statement applies from age five.

Rowan Youth is a one-size bicycle helmet for a measured 50–57 cm head, with dial adjustment and a removable three-position visor. It can suit school-age riders whose current head size is inside that range. Measure before buying and check the helmet sits level; the maker notes that head shape affects fit. The visor should stay clear of forward and side vision. Retrospec lists CPSC coverage for age five and older, so do not treat this as a toddler option.
