The Elegant’s broad padded waist belt and adjustable shoulder straps are its main reason to compare it with a simpler carrier. The Dark Blue 18291 also has removable head and back support and cushioned leg openings. Try the belt on the adult who will carry the child: padding helps only when the carrier can be tightened securely.

Its stated 4–24 month range and 15 kg maximum need a qualification. LuvLap’s size chart ends at 24 months while the same model’s FAQ says 4–36 months; no exact-model manual was found to resolve that conflict. Outward-facing, back-carry and the advertised “feeding style” position also lack separate documented starting conditions. Do not infer permission for those positions from the overall age range. If they are a deciding feature, choose a carrier with clear mode instructions. Keep the face visible and the airway unobstructed; after feeding, reposition the baby so the face remains clear.
