We went the day after Zugspitze, when the whole family was tired. We still wanted to make use of the good weather, but we did not want another demanding outing. Yes. That is the main reason I would recommend it.
Kufstein is one of those places where the small size becomes an advantage rather than a limitation. The grandparent in the group does not need to worry about a punishing route, and the children do not need to be told to keep going just a little longer every half hour.
