WonderFold W4 Elite Pro

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Four reversible reclining harnessed seats solve genuine group transport rather than merely adding cargo space.
  • Front and rear zip entrances let mobile children climb in without being lifted over the carriage sides.

Cons

  • The 23.3 kg/51.4 lb fitted weight makes frequent boot loading and stairs hard work.
  • At roughly 76 cm/29.9 in wide, narrow shops, older lifts and home storage need measuring before purchase.

The W4 Elite Pro earns its size when three or four young children genuinely need one contained ride—particularly for a large sibling group or regular group outings. Four raised, reclining seats can face forwards or towards the adult, with five-point harnesses, while zip entrances let mobile children climb in without being lifted over the side. The 136 kg/299.8 lb overall capacity also leaves more headroom than the W2, but capacity is not the same as convenience. With seats fitted it weighs 23.3 kg/51.4 lb, and its roughly 76 cm/29.9 in width makes narrow shop aisles, older lifts and a packed car boot the real constraints. It is intended from six months, not as an unsourced newborn solution. Before buying, measure the boot opening, folded-storage area, front door and any lift used regularly; choose the W2 instead if only two seats will normally be occupied.
