Silver Cross Wayfarer

Silver Cross has been in the game for a while. Their founder William Wilson invented the world’s first baby carriage 1877. A lot has happened since then, but the company was born through innovation, and it seems to have stayed in their DNA.

We found the large shopping basket, usage of anti-bacterial and temperature regulating fabric (carrycot has Bamboo lining) and a carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping, as areas where this stroller distinguishes itself. Not to mention that it looks great.

Perhaps a little piece of evidence that innovation is in their DNA is that they also developed a new harness system called “Genius harness system”. There must be quite a few parents working at Silver Cross, because indeed, the usual harness systems are perhaps safe, but does not offer the best imaginable user experience. The Genius Harness System uses a magnetic buckle, offers rucksack-style strap adjustments and is simply designed to be easy and conveinent to use.
