It can suit a car where the belt path, recline and front-seat clearance work in the intended seating position; never use it before an active front airbag.

The full range uses three distinct setups. The exact K86 manual permits harnessed forward-facing use only after 15 months, from 76-105 cm and up to 18 kg. Booster mode removes the five-point harness and starts at 100 cm, continuing to 150 cm with the vehicle belt restraining the child. If the child exceeds 18 kg while still below 100 cm, none of the seat’s stated modes covers that interval; use another suitable restraint. Check height, weight, harness position, belt routing, recline and available space before every mode change.
