Choose the Lionelo Toni for a small rider from 18 months who is ready to practise on two wheels but needs a genuinely light bike. At 2.3 kg it is easier for a child to steer and for an adult to carry home; the saddle adjusts from 26-32 cm, the handlebar also adjusts, and footrests support early coasting. Its maintenance-free 25 cm PU wheels suit smooth paths, but they cushion rough ground less than air tyres. There is no brake, so the child must be able to slow and stop with both feet.
