Joie Muze LX suits everyday errands when storage and built-in trays matter more than low carry weight. Its forward-facing seat reclines flat for use from birth and supports a child to 22 kg. Use the three-height five-point harness every trip, apply the one-touch brake whenever stopped and keep the 4.5 kg basket load below its limit; bags on the handle can destabilise a stroller.

The fold is practical for a hallway or boot: release it and gravity closes the chassis into a freestanding, automatically locked 81.7 × 54 × 40 cm package. Still, 10.8 kg is substantial on stairs. Joie i-Juva and i-Snug 2 infant carriers attach without adapters, while other compatible carriers use Maxi-Cosi-style attachment; every carrier is sold separately. Treat that mode as a convenient car-to-stroller transfer. For normal newborn strolling and sleep, use the properly adjusted lie-flat seat rather than leaving a baby in the car seat.
