Ergobaby Metro 3

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The 101-109 cm handlebar adjustment lets caregivers change pushing height without giving up the compact fold.

Cons

  • The 7.6 kg weight excludes accessories; the folded size still needs checking against the airline's allowance.

The Metro 3 suits shared-caregiver travel: its adjustable handlebar offers a 101–109 cm pushing height while the one-hand fold reduces it to 56 × 44 × 23 cm. The 7.6 kg weight is without accessories, so consider how often you will carry it upstairs. A compact fold does not guarantee cabin acceptance.

For a newborn, follow the Metro 3 manual’s nest setup and use the harness. Until head and neck control develops, the seat must be fully reclined. EU use ends at 22 kg or four years, whichever comes first, with a separate 101.6 cm height limit. This is a walking stroller, not a jogging model.
