BabyBjorn Carrier Mini makes the most sense for families who want the easiest possible start with babywearing and do not want a bigger all-stage carrier from day one. The strongest part of the case is not maximum longevity. It is the calm setup: the small frame, simple buckles, and softer feel make it easier to grab for short newborn carries at home, on errands, or through airports when you mainly want closeness and free hands.
That same simplicity is also the main limit. Carrier Mini is much easier to defend in the early months than later on, because it does not give you the same long-wear support, waistbelt structure, or later-stage range as stronger newborn-to-toddler carriers. If you expect mostly short carries, frequent on-off use, and a more newborn-focused season, it is a strong fit. If you want one carrier to stay convincing once your baby gets heavier, look higher up the category.
