It makes the most sense when suspension, a roomier chassis, and a more polished everyday push matter enough to justify spending above the mid-range.

    Bugaboo Butterfly

    Previous generation in regions where Butterfly 2 is now the main version

    The original Bugaboo Butterfly is useful when a city outing involves folding and carrying as well as pushing. Its 7.3 kg frame folds to 45 x 23 x 54 cm, and the shoulder strap keeps a hand free between walks. The seat is for children from six months up to 22 kg, so it is not a newborn seat. Its basket has a separate 8 kg limit. Check the folded size against your boot or storage space; airline cabin acceptance still depends on your flight’s rules.
