Volare Spidey and His Amazing Friends

Pros

  • The dial-adjustable 52-56 cm range gives this Spidey design a clear fit boundary.

Cons

  • The 52-56 cm range suits only a measured head within that interval; adjustment cannot make the wrong shell size fit.

Volare Spidey and His Amazing Friends is a child bicycle helmet in a bright character design, with a dial-adjustable 52-56 cm fit. Its appeal is straightforward: a child who wants this Spidey graphic gets a bicycle helmet with a defined size range. The range is a firm boundary, so measure the child’s head before choosing it and do not buy a larger shell for growth. The rounded shell has visible ventilation openings, but the design is not evidence of any extra impact rating or use beyond cycling. After adjustment, check that it sits level and stays put when the child looks up, down and side to side. If the shell rocks or the straps cannot be positioned securely, compare another helmet even if this is the preferred character. The fit, rather than the character artwork, decides whether this particular size is suitable.
