HUDORA Pandy

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • HUDORA:s försäkran om överensstämmelse omfattar exakt Pandy 84911 och 84921 enligt EN 1078:2012+A1:2012.
  • Två små skalstorlekar, vredjustering, tvättbara kuddar och nio ventilationsöppningar ger konkreta möjligheter att finjustera passformen.

Cons

Pandy is most relevant when an unusually small head fits one of HUDORA’s separate 44–47 or 48-52 cm shells closely. The dial refines circumference, while nine vents and removable, washable pads can reduce everyday friction. HUDORA’s own declaration covers both Pandy article numbers and EN 1078:2012+A1:2012.

For younger children in Sweden, however, buckle type matters more than the panda styling: HUDORA specifies a magnetic buckle, while Sweden’s consumer authority advises a young-child helmet with a green release buckle up to age seven. Prefer a documented green-buckle helmet for that age group. If Pandy is still relevant for an older child with a small head, try it on the child: it should sit level, cover the forehead and back of the head, and remain stable with the chin strap fastened. Replace it after a hard impact.
