Skurb Kid is worth trying when a child prefers a rounded skate-style helmet and wears a ponytail: its rear adjustment system leaves room for the hairstyle. Removable pads make cleaning after sweaty rides easier. There is no peak for shading the eyes.

The Skurb Kid manual specifies EN 1078. Fit still matters: the helmet should sit horizontally, protect the forehead and stay comfortable with the straps fastened. ABUS says to remove it before entering playgrounds because it can catch during climbing. Replace it after a substantial impact even without visible damage.
