Choose Lionelo Sammy when a one- to three-year-old needs a steady ride-on before a two-wheel balance bike feels manageable. Four EVA wheels provide a stable platform for practising sitting, pushing, and steering. That stability is both the reason to buy it and its limit: Sammy does not develop side-to-side balance and leaning as directly as two wheels.

Check the fit with the child seated: both feet should reach the ground comfortably for propulsion and stopping. The manual sets a 25 kg maximum and requires adult supervision, a helmet and protective equipment, plus flat, even, traffic-free ground. Sammy has no brake, so avoid slopes, rough surfaces, and places where speed can build. If the child can already glide confidently on two wheels, a proper balance bike offers the stronger next step.
