Alpina Rupi

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The removable chin bar provides a full-face setup for pump track or MTB rides and can be removed for other rides.
- Run System adjustment and 15 vents support a tuned fit and airflow.
Cons
- The 50-55 cm range covers a narrow stage; measure before buying and do not assume the helmet will fit as the child grows.

ALPINA RUPI is made for children whose heads measure 50–55 cm and for cycling where a full-face shape suits the ride. Its chin bar is removable, so families can choose that configuration for pump-track or MTB use and remove it for other cycling as ALPINA’s instructions allow. The manufacturer lists EN 1078:2012 + A1:2012; that should not be read as a separate downhill rating. The Run System adjusts around the head, and 15 vents provide airflow, but neither feature compensates for a shell that does not fit securely. Measure instead of buying for future growth. If the child is outside 50–55 cm, or the helmet shifts after adjustment, choose another size or model that stays stable in the intended configuration.
