YBIKE 35.6 cm 2-in-1 Balance and Pedal Bike

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The removable pedal-and-chain assembly lets a child progress on the same correctly sized frame.
  • Air-filled tyres and hand brakes provide practice with controls used on a pedal bike.

Cons

  • The shared saddle-height diagram does not isolate the selected 35.6 cm size, so the height chart cannot guarantee ground reach.
  • Pedal conversion adds chain and brake adjustment work; it is not the simplest first balance bike.

The selected black YBIKE has 35.6 cm wheels; its size chart gives 100-115 cm and about 3–5 years. The useful feature is the removable pedal-and-chain assembly: a child can practise balance first, then add pedalling without changing to another frame. That only saves a second purchase if the frame still fits when the child is ready. It is not a bike that automatically fits every child from two to seven.

For balance mode, both feet should rest flat with knees slightly bent, and the child must comfortably reach and operate the brake levers. The supplied 41-48.5 cm saddle-height diagram is labelled for 12–40.6 cm models together, so it does not establish a separate 35.6 cm adjustment range. The selected family diagram gives a 49.9 kg rider limit; capacity is not a substitute for fit.

The actual bike has air-filled tyres, a front caliper brake and a cable-operated rear brake, plus an adjustable saddle and handlebar. An adult needs to assemble and check the drivetrain and brakes after conversion; the advertised quick-change time is not a useful readiness test. A dedicated balance bike is simpler if the child is only beginning to push and stop. This model makes more sense when pedal conversion is genuinely likely before the selected size is outgrown.
