The Polisport XXS Baby is made for very small heads, with a stated 44–48 cm fit, a weight of about 190 g and six vents. Polisport lists use from 9 months to 3 years and describes the helmet for a front child seat, trike or learning bike. Its small size can help when a standard child helmet will not sit securely, but it leaves little room to grow.

Measure carefully and recheck the fit often; do not buy ahead for a child whose head is still below the range. For child-seat rides, follow the seat maker’s age and use instructions and check that the helmet does not press against the seat back. If it cannot stay level without pressure, this size is not a suitable fit.
