KeaBabies Original Wrap Carrier

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The self-tied fit adjusts around different caregivers; the maker illustrates sizes XS–XXXL.
  • Crossed fabric panels spread beneath the child to form the inward-facing seat.

Cons

  • It does not come pre-tied: learning panel placement and suitable tension is part of using it.
  • The advertised 15.9 kg limit conflicts with 15 kg in the translated handbook; our recommendation stops at 15 kg.

KeaBabies Original suits parents who want a self-tied inward hold and are willing to learn how to tension a long stretchy wrap. Crossed fabric panels support the child, with an outer logo panel and a knot securing the arrangement. It is not pre-tied, so putting it on involves more than fastening buckles.

We limit our recommendation to 3.2-15 kg because the published 15.9 kg and 15 kg upper figures do not agree. That range does not replace a fit check. Keep the fabric snug, the back supported, the face visible and the chin clear of the chest; the child’s head should be within kissing reach.

Practise the tie before relying on it for outings. The illustrated XS–XXXL wearer range is a starting point for checking fabric reach, not a guarantee that one tying arrangement fits every adult.
