Hauck Eco Mobil

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • A low centre of gravity, parking brake, sprung tow handle and bearing-mounted wheels suit calm outings on uneven ground.

Cons

  • It is pull-only for children from two and has no documented restraints, so it does not replace a push stroller for fast control, naps or a younger child.

Hauck Eco Mobil suits park, festival and day-trip use when two children aged two or over need a shared place to rest. Low side entries, two seat cushions and a removable canopy make boarding and longer stops more practical, while the low centre of gravity and rear parking brake matter when the wagon is stationary. Its 50 kg load limit is generous, but the frame itself weighs 16.5 kg and is designed to be pulled rather than pushed. Hauck lists cushions, not harnessed stroller seats, so this is not a substitute for a restrained stroller. Measure the car boot against the 97 × 75 × 34 cm folded size, and check each child’s age, sitting ability and the intended walking environment before buying.
