Hamax Caress Frame Mount

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The back, harness, footrests and up-to-20° recline adjust as the child grows.
Cons
- Frame mounting needs a compatible tube and rear-wheel clearance; it is not an automatic fit for every bike.

Hamax Caress Frame Mount is a rear seat for families who want more adjustment than a basic budget carrier without depending on a rear rack. The back adjustment and recline make it easier to justify for longer nursery runs, path rides, or children who may still nap in the seat. It belongs on the shortlist when the adult bike has a normal enough frame for the bracket and the family wants a contained rear position rather than a front seat.
The tradeoff is that comfort features do not solve frame fit. The bracket still needs the right tube shape and enough space around the rear wheel, saddle, cables, and rider heels. Check the bike carefully before buying, especially on small frames or bikes with rear suspension. If the frame fit is uncertain but the rack is strong and child-seat rated, compare a rack-mounted model instead.
