The back adjustment and recline make it easier to justify for longer nursery runs, path rides, or children who may still nap in the seat. It belongs on the shortlist when the adult bike has a normal enough frame for the bracket and the family wants a contained rear position rather than a front seat.
The tradeoff is that comfort features do not solve frame fit. The bracket still needs the right tube shape and enough space around the rear wheel, saddle, cables, and rider heels.
