The Smooty 2.0 pink watermelon M is the 50-55 cm, 220 g version. Its flatter back is intended for children riding in a bicycle seat, where a protruding helmet can press against the backrest. Check the helmet together with the actual seat: the child must still be able to hold their head comfortably without the shell tipping forwards.

The ABUS specification sheet confirms size M, a full adjustment ring, washable pads, insect mesh and reflectors. There is no rear LED. The Smooty 2.0 manual identifies EN 1078:2012+A1:2012, but the label alone cannot make a loose helmet fit. Set it level, adjust the straps and check for rocking before each ride. Remove it for playground climbing and replace it after a significant impact.
