Maxi-Cosi RodiFix S i-Size is the better fit when the child is already in the 100-150 cm booster years and comfort matters more than the cheapest possible later seat. It keeps the same basic high-back booster job: the vehicle belt restrains the child, while ISOFIX helps stabilize the seat. The reason to move up to the S version is the comfort package, especially recline plus height and width adjustment for a growing older child.
The tradeoff is usefulness versus need. For an occasional spare, those comfort upgrades may not matter enough. For a daily car or longer journeys, they can be worth considering. Do not buy it for a child who still needs a harnessed toddler seat.
